This is how I first saw my sweet little Nephi.
It was so sad to see him so tiny amongst all that medical equipment. It was the first time I got to touch or see him. I had just barely learned that he had Down syndrome and that they were going to life flight him out to Primary Childrens Hospitol. That was how I was told about him being born with an oomphalocle (bowels outside the belly).
Next time I saw him he was all wired up on all kinds of equipment. Surgery to repair his belly was complete and it was now up to him to heal and grow!!
I think him being attached to a wire from the start gave him a start to having many wires since..............

From heart monitors for brady cardia (slow heart rate) to severe sleep apnea, to hypertension of the lungs. He is by his own nature a "wired" little boy with the switch turned to ON all the time. He is such an angel while he gets all the medical tests with the patience of Job, but any other time he is CONSTANTLY on the go!! He is quite the ball of energy!! Hence, wired up Then.....and wired up STILL!! I love that little boy and hope that he keeps going and going for many years!!!! Love ya Nephi!!
